There are plenty of stunning holiday lights displays worth checking out this weekend, including Enchant at Ballpark Commons in Franklin, Winter Wonderland in the Garden District (FREE!), and Christmas at the Zoo at Shalom Wildlife Sanctuary in West Bend.

2. Meet Santa

European Village Alive! Milwaukee Public Museum Wisconsin

Santa will be busy this weekend! You can catch a glimpse of Father Christmas at the Pabst Mansion, swing by Santa’s Workshop in Cedarburg, grab a FREE photo with Santa at Cabela’s, or get a personalized visit from the big guy when you reserve a Santa Chalet at Natty Oaks in West Allis.

3. Public Skating (Pettit National Ice Center)

500 S. 84th St., Milwaukee, WI 53214
Various dates and times
Admission: Adults $9; Seniors / Teens $8; Youth (4-12) $7; Children 3 and Under FREE

Skate the oval at the facility where Olympic speedskaters train! The Pettit is open to the public on various dates and times (see schedule). Rent skates for $4.50 per pair (available in sizes 6T-15 Men’s). Skate helpers are also available to rent for beginner and novice skaters ($5).

4. Comedy Sportz Family-Friendly Match

420 S. 1st St., Milwaukee, WI 53204
Friday, December 22, 2023, 7:30-9 p.m.
Admission: $12

Two teams of players – one red and one blue – competing against each other in improv games based on the suggestions of the fans watching the match! There are 7-10 games per match, with the occasional willing volunteer (kid or adult!) joining the teams on the field to help the hilarity ensue!

Bar and Restaurant open at 6 p.m.; seating begins at 7 p.m. Show runs 7:30-9 p.m. No age restriction.

5. A Holiday Snow Globe at the Domes

Turner Hall Ballroom The Rock and Roll Playhouse Music of the Beatles for Kids

The theme of this year’s holiday show at the Mitchell Park Domes is “A Holiday Snow Globe.” Enjoy the warmth of the Domes amid a field of hundreds of poinsettias, grouped with decorated spruce trees and other seasonal favorites. Bring your loved ones into a polar paradise of playful animals enjoying the winter season.
